🌵 Budget Tripping: How we traveled from NYC to Northern Arizona without taking a single hour of PTO for under $1,000. (before there was WFH)
Leave the office at 5 PM Friday, catch a red-eye to Phoenix, pick up a Range Rover Sport at midnight, drive straight to Horseshoe Bend in the dark, watch the sunrise over the Colorado River gorge at 5 AM, hike Lower Antelope Canyon, sleep through the desert noon, Monument Valley at golden hour, wake up at 3 AM for a second Horseshoe Bend visit, Glen Canyon at dawn, Sedona, pie at Rock Springs Cafe, drop the car, red-eye home, land at JFK at 6:29 AM, shower head into the office. Total regrets: zero.
